SWAD - Joypad

The SWAD project is an innovative telemonitoring system designed to improve the lives of children suffering from SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). It is a joypad designed with the aim of allowing them to enjoy video games without getting tired and, at the same time, carry out physiotherapy activities. The device includes a system that allows you to move the buttons to different positions, all monitored by pressure sensors. This not only optimizes the gaming experience, but also provides relevant data to the physiotherapist to closely monitor and evaluate the child's progress.
